Our family have been attending the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, Canada for over thirty years now, giving us much pleasure. To commemorate this occasion and celebrate the 100th anniversary year of four generations of the Sharp family having owned & worked Clydesdale horses within Scotland, we have donated the "Sharp's Clydesdales -Scotland- Clydesdale Six Horse Hitch Perpetual Challenge Trophy" to be awarded annually in the aforementioned draft horse driving class. We were delighted to show our continuing support for the Royal, an event that showcases the very best of the worlds equine & agricultural animals, and in particular the Clydesdale classes by donating the Perpetual Challenge Trophy & to reinforce the long standing links between Scotland & North America within the Clydesdale community. The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair takes place every November in the City of Toronto, the Royal is the largest combined indoor agricultural fair and international equestrian competition in the world. It began on November 22nd, 1922 and is in its 88th year, the show also attracts over 340,000 visitors a year.
